Amparo Gonzales Castillo

March 6, 1930 – February 4, 2019

Amparo G. Castillo 88, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Antonio Castillo, parents Emilio and Benita Gonzales, brothers Adolphus, Ramiro, Ruben, Johnny and Emilio, sister Terry Lozano

Amparo is survived by her children, three sons, Michael Castillo , Emilio Castillo, Richard Castillo, and daughter, Marta Castillo Vidal all of San Antonio, Texas.  She had five grandchildren: Melanie Castillo of San Antonio, Emily Knowles of Houston, Corey Castillo of Vinton, La., Justin Marrero of Austin, Texas, Jeremy Marrero of  San Antonio, Texas, and a Great-Grand child named Blue. Surviving brother, Alfred Gonzales (Dora) of Surprise, Az, sisters, Alice Freeman of New Caney, Tx. And Esther Flores (Miguel) of Bainbridge Ga.  She had numerous nieces and nephews who loved and adored her as well

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday March 2, 2019 at Kidd Cemetery 22192 Kiss Cemetary Rd. with Ricky Gonzales officiating.  The wake will be held at the Country home of Lozano family address of 12765 Mexican John Rd, New Caney, Texas. Internment services will be at 9:00 AM, Wednesday March 6, 2019 at Ft. Sam National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
