Daniel Marquez Diaz passed away on October 29, 2023, at his home peacefully in his sleep. He was born February 9, 1950 in San Antonio, Texas to David and Adelina (Marquez) Diaz. He is preceded in death by his wife Teresa S. Diaz, his parents, siblings David Diaz, Robert Diaz and Fred Diaz.

Daniel was known as "Danny" to his family and friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing the lottery and going fishing at Braunig Lake.

He is survived by his son Daymion Diaz (Andrea); grandchildren: Daymion Diaz Jr. Destinee Diaz and Theresa Diaz; sisters: Ruby Medlin, Ida Jimenez; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends and relatives that will forever cherish the memories he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held at the McCauley Baptist Church (714 McCauley Ave. San Antonio, Texas 78221), Friday, November 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Prayer Services at 11:00 a.m.
