David V. Lopez,76, of Charlotte Texas, passed away on December 2, 2025. He was born in Jayton, Texas in 1949 to Susano Lopez and Juanita Valenzuela Lopez.

He was raised in Charlotte and graduated from Charlotte High School. He was the 3rd youngest of twelve siblings.  David worked in the oil fields across Texas and was also a semi-truck driver, the road was his second home. He was a human GPS; he could give directions to any city in Texas by memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Susano Lopez Sr.; his mother, Juanita V. Lopez; his sisters: Elena Lopez Cisneros, Angelita Lopez Bermea, Rosa Lopez Escobar, Olivia Lopez Gaitan, Hortencia Lopez Galvan; and brothers Susano Lopez Jr., and Santos Lopez. David is survived by his sisters: Anita (Frank) Lopez Munoz, Juanita Jane (Roger) Lopez Arguello, Alicia Lopez Cavazos; and brother Reynaldo (Darling) Lopez, nephew and best friend Frederick Cisneros, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and those who knew him. Visitation will begin at the Charlotte Iglesia de Dios n Monday, December 8, 2025, 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. with a Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow.
