Felipe De Jesus Urrutia Sr passed away peacefully on May 22,2025.  He was born to Gregorio and Anselma Urrutia in Helena, Texas. Felipe lived a life marked by hard work and love for his family. Felipe worked many years in sales at Automotive paint and colors as well Managed San Antonio Trucking.  He and his owned The Bar Casa Grande for years as well as A.B. Candy Company-where he formed many friendships and made lasting memories

A man of few words, Felipe enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing, playing pool, barbecues and spending time with family.  His kindness was known to all; he would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Felipe is survived by his wife of 45 years Margaret Urrutia, Children: Maria Cisneros (Martin), Felipe de Jesus Jr (Cathy), Ernest (Veronica), Anthony (Laura), Gregory (Jessica) Siblings:  Rosendo Urrutia, Maria Gonzales, Lupe Calderas and Fernando Urrutia; 25 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Diana, George and Grandson Michael J. Urrutia.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 6:00 P.M. The family will gather at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. for a Mass of Resurrection with Fr. Victor Valdez officiating. Cremation will follow at Felipe's Request.

Felipe will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his love and kind heart.
