Obituary

James (Skeeto) Luna Sr.  from Charlotte, Texas passed away on January 25, 2020 at the age of 52. James is preceded in death by his grandfather Monico Luna Sr., grandmother Manuela Luna, grandfather Cecilio Munoz, father Monico Luna Jr., sister Lisa Luna, brother Monico Luna III, and brother Murrice Luna.

James is survived by his sons James Luna Jr. and McKenzie Luna, daughter Natalie Gauna, mother and stepfather Alejandra and Doug Burdick, and grandmother Santos Munoz.

James is lovingly remembered by his sister Monica Luna, brother Rex Luna, stepsister Misty Burdick, sister-in-law Beatrice Luna, five nephews (Armando, Conrad, Noah, Cameron, Rex Jr, and Lance),  four nieces (Teresa, Marina, Naena and Alianna) as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and longtime friend Mirta Salazar.

James was born in Morton, Texas on June 15, 1967.

He graduated from Charlotte High School in 1985.

James enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing poker, barbecuing and spending time with his friends and family.

The visitation will be held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 373 Madero Ave. in Charlotte, Texas on Thursday,  January 30, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm. With the Rosary being performed 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

The funeral service will be held at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at 10:00 am, with Father Josef Glabinski officiating.

Burial to follow at Chilipitin Cemetery.
