Mr. Jose C. Rodriguez, 77, left us on September 5, 2020.

He was born in Poteet on June 15, 1943.

He was raised in Charlotte by Francisca Castillo Rodriguez.

He married Margarita Juarez on March 24, 1961.

He is survived by his wife Margarita Juarez Rodriguez; sisters: Paola Rodriguez & Santana Sanchez, Daughters: Susie (Carl Flake), Debbie (Chris Zuniga) and Jennifer Rodriguez; Grandchildren: Anthony, Badillo, Julia Badillo, Taran Zuniga, Blane Zuniga, Deegan Zuniga, Destine Cruz, Esperanza Mendoza, Daisy Mendoza, Thomas Mendoza, Ivan Mendoza, Mia Lynn Mendoza, Josiah Gomez, Isaiah Gomez, Joe Jesse Gomez and Javan Gomez; Great Grandchild A.J. Badillo.

He is preceded in death by his mother Francisca C. Rodriguez and daughter Maggie Rodriguez.

Jose loved family gatherings, holidays and sporting events.

He would be the first to buy the brisket and getting up early to cook it. We will miss him at home football games yellilng out "Get the Quarterback"

We will miss him playing bass at church choir, dancing at parting and weddings. Also, playing bingo with mom at Hill Top.

He loved his Dallas Cowboys and our small town Trojans.

He bragged about how proud he was of his grandkids.

He loved his caramel colored Stacy Adams Dress Shoes.

Keep those Stacy's polished in Heaven grandpa.

...dancing in the clouds whenever it rains.
