Juan Lascano, age 66, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, in Castroville, Texas, after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in Castroville to Marcelina and Braulio Lascano, Juan was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, known for his kindness, strength, and dedication to his family.

Juan was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelina and Braulio Lascano, son Johnny Lascano Jr., sister Maria Torres, brothers Braulio Lascano, Jr.,   Sylvester Sr. & (Josie Lascano), Raymundo Lascano and Felipe Lascano.

Juan is survived by his wife of 37 years, Elida Lascano; children, Gloria Valle and husband Adrian, Angel Lascano and wife Angie, Jason Lascano and wife Catherine, Crystal Lascano and husband Jaime, Cassandra Espinoza and husband Genaro, and Roxanne Lascano. Sisters, Mary Helen Rymers (Ambrose Sr.), Maria Elizondo (Rodolfo Sr.), Marcy Snow (David), Florinda Rivera (Juan), brothers Gerardo Lascano, Candelario Lascano, Sr. (Terry), Maurillo Lascano (Yolanda), Jerry Lascano, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

His legacy continues through his children and the countless lives he touched with his generous spirit. A man of great character, Juan was passionate about his work and hobbies, always bringing joy and laughter into every room he entered. He was a pillar in his family, offering love, support, and wisdom. His life was a testament to the values of hard work, resilience, and the importance of family.

The memorial service to celebrate Juan's life will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church in Castroville, Texas friends and family can gather to share memories and honor his life.

Juan Lascano's warmth, laughter, and love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Prayer of the Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 6:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends and relatives until 8:30 P.M. The family will gather at 9:00 A.M. at the church on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 to bid final farewells and for a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Resurrection. Interment will follow at the St. Louis Catholic Cemetery in Castroville, Texas.
