Juanita Alaniz Guerrero, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2021. She passed away peacefully at her home in San Antonio, TX. She was born on September 15, 1948, in Brownsville, TX. She was preceded in death by her father, Juan Martinez Alaniz and her mother, Guadalupe Alvarado Camaro, her brothers Enrique (Henry) A. Alaniz and Daniel Alaniz, her daughter Janie Gonzales, and her grandson Corey A. Gonzales. She is survived by her loving husband Frank Hickman Guerrero, whom she spent 51 years of her life with. She is also survived by 8 siblings, her sons, Johnny J. Gonzales (Rose), Joe Gonzales, Jr., Edward A. Gonzales, her daughters Catherine E. Garay (Carlos, Jr.) and Trisha A. Gil (Elias, Jr.), 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 23, 2021, from 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM with Service at 7:00 PM at McCauley Baptist Church 714 McCauley Ave., San Antonio, TX 78221. A Graveside Service will be held at Mission Burial Park South 1700 SE Military Dr., San Antonio, TX, 78214, Friday, September 24, 2021, at 3:00 PM.
