Luis Jose Martinez better known to us all as Joe Luis Martinez was born July 14, 1979, to Mother Amelia Gaitan Martinez, stepfather Juan V Santos and Father Jose Luis Martinez Sr, stepmother Mickey Castieja. Joe Luis was a Charlotte Graduate and resident. Throughout his school years he was a great athlete and his charismatic charm, friendly demeaner, and jokingly sense of humor attracted so many friends into life. He was so loved by many which made this news a total devastation losing him at such a young age of 45. He had been so blessed to have met his companion and girlfriend Lisa Mann Coronado, who brought so much joy to his life especially in his final days. Joe Luis had the privilege of being a father to Jada Lynn Martinez, Joe Luis Martinez, Julian Michael Martinez and the upmost honor of being a grandfather to Joseph Robinson Junior, Juliette Mendoza, and Jaeleigh Mendoza. His eyes would light up with pride every time he would speak of them. Joe Luis is survived by sisters Delia and Anna Martinez, along with stepbrothers, Jaime Santos, Margarito and Gommer. Nieces Selena and Clarissa, nephews Damien, Joey, Dominick and countless of cousins who will feel his void and miss him greatly.

Viewing is open to all who would like to say their last goodbyes and pay their respects at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Charlotte Tx. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 A.M. with Holy Mass to be Celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at The Community Cemetery of Charlotte where he will be laid to his final resting place. In celebration of Joe Luis's life there will be a reception at Msgr. John Wagner Hall.\
