Mark Guajardo, 33, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2019. Mark was born on July 10, 1985 in El Paso, TX to Joe Guajardo and Lily Olivares. On April 21, 2018, Mark married his love Jennifer Laura Guajardo, in San Antonio, TX.

Mark served his country honorably as a Sergeant in the United States Army and worked for many years as a veterinary technician. Mark was a caring and compassionate man and was in his second semester of nursing school. He wanted to be an O.R. nurse. He was a devoted fan of the Washington Redskins and San Antonio Spurs. Mark will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, and devotion to his family. He will be sorely missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; children Isabell Guajardo, Milania Guajardo, and Corey Perez; mother Lily Olivares and husband Rene, father Joe Guajardo and wife Irene; brothers Michael Guajardo and wife Julie, Mathew Guajardo and wife Sammie, Issac Guajardo, Nick Olivares and wife Tara, sister Natalie Cruz and husband Jose; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be Friday, January 18th from 6 pm - 7 pm at St. Luke Catholic Church, 4603 Manitou Dr., with a holy rosary to commence at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19th at 9:30 am at St. Luke Catholic Church with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian, 11624 Culebra Road, San Antonio, TX 78253.
