Raynaldo Cantu Obituary

Raynaldo Cantu age 67 of Charlotte, Tx passed away at the hospital shortly after leaving his family to try and revive him on July 22, 2024. He was born on October 1, 1956, to Domingo and Jesusa Cantu.

Ray was a proud farmer of the Ruple's. In his spare time, he enjoyed working outside on carpentry, building collectable model cars, sitting and reminiscing of old times and many other hobbies. He was a very dedicated, proud, and loyal worker, friend, son, father and most of all a grandpa. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by wife Petra Cantu; Daughters: Tracey Jackson (Mike), Desirae Nevarez (Javy), Rachel Cantu (Noel Mendoza): Sons: Rene Cantu (Angel Navarro), Nick Garcia (Sierra Sanchez). Ray was a grandfather to 19 Grandchildren:  Cassandra Rodriguez, Erica Rodriguez, Ricardo Rodriguez, Mariah Jackson, Jericho Jackson, Maverick Jackson, Janiyah Garza, Isaiah Cantu, Amiyah Nevarez, Arya Cantu, Raya Cantu, Scarlett Sambrano, Haylee Sambrano, Alaina Sambrano, Logan Mendoza, Noel Mendoza, Jasiah Garcia, Nathaniel Garcia. Siblings: Elena and Roman Deleon of Charlotte, Gloria and Lupe Gonzales of Alvin, Domingo Jr. and Linda Cantu of Charlotte, Andres Cantu of Charlotte, Jesse and Henrietta Cantu of Charlotte, Carlos and Simona Cantu of Charlotte, Juan Cantu of San Antonio, Lucy Cantu of Pleasanton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He's preceded in death by his parents Domingo and Jesusa Cantu, son Ricardo Rodriguez Jr., and his siblings Francisco Cantu, Bobby Cantu, Rosa Cantu, Joe Cantu.

Visitation will begin on Friday August 2, 2024, from 5:00 P.M through 8:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Charlotte, Texas with Prayer Service at 6:00pm.

The family will gather on Saturday August 3, 2024, at 10:00am at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Charlotte Community Cemetery to lay him to rest.
