Human existence is girt round with mystery: the narrow region of our experience is a small island in the midst of a boundless sea. To add to the mystery, the domain of our earthly existence is not only an island of infinite space, but also in infinite time. The past and the future are alike shrouded from us: we neither know the origin of anything which is, nor its final destination. -JSM On Thursday, January 20, 2022, Rita Robles Gutierrez, age 71, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away peacefully. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on October 1, 1950 to Rafael and Rosa Robles. Rita is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Gutierrez Sr. and daughter Veronica Gutierrez as well as her brother Roque Robles.  She is survived by her sons Jesse Gutierrez Jr, Gregory Gutierrez, Jacob Gutierrez and grandchildren Deziree Gutierrez as well as Jacob Joel Gutierrez, Adrian Gutierrez and Gabriella Gutierrez.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 14, 2022 from Noon until 2:00 P.M.

The family will gather at Fort Sam Houston on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 for a Graveside Service at 10:00 A.M.
