Ssgt. David
J. Guerrero
August 11, 1960 – April 12, 2022
USAF SSGT David Joaquin Guerrero was called upon the Lord on the morning of April 12, 2022. David had suffered a brainstem stroke and had fought for 69 days trying to stay here with us on Earth, but our Lord above already had plans for him in Heaven. David is survived by his life partner of 16 years Deborah Linda Trevino, son Jude David Guerrero, his loving mother Alma Guerrero of San Antonio, Texas, brother Patrick Guerrero of Arizona, sister in law Marla Lit of Colorado, nephew Jake Guerrero of New York, niece Samantha Guerrero of Australia, mother in law Angelita Trevino, sister in law Belinda (Octavio), Brother in Law Ignacio Trevino Sr. (Monica) and a good friend (also a business partner Mr. Robert Gonzales (Brenda), National Cab of San Antonio and many friends that hold on to many memories David leaves behind.
He is preceded in death by his father USMC CPL Joaquin G. Guerrero, sister Angela Guerrero, stepfather Humberto "Ham" Sanchez.
David was born on August 11, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Joaquin and Alma Guerrero. He graduated from Edison High School in 1978; he then followed his ambition to become a U.S. Airman and joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Luke Air Force Base where he enrolled in Air Force College and received a degree in Financial Specialist Accountant where he worked USAF.
During his last years here on Earth he decided to become a Transportation Specialist (a cabbie) and truly enjoyed the job; he was a people person; he had clientele of over 500 personal clients that truly relied on David to get them to their destination safely. However, the proudest moment in David's life was when his son Jude was born in 2008; David was the proudest father that day and everyday after that he truly was a great dad, a good son, a trusted friend and most of all a caring man.
